Convergent Online Charging & Rating Engine
The project goal was to develop Converged Rating and Charging Engine system that will provide rating and charging capabilities for Session (phone call), Event (SMS, MMS), and Data usage (Internet/bandwidth usage, OTT services usage). In addition, it had to enable rating and charging for external services exposed to it by API, so that the third-party systems could perform real-time rating and charging, money transfer and electronic top up. As a real-time OSS component, it was a key critical system in MNO and MVNO deployments.

Architectural features include: modular design, loose coupling between modules and run-time configuration changes. It also has fast near-real time response characteristics.
